Those who took part in the potato competition held their breaths as the 20 x 10 litre pots were emptied over a large sieve and the rewards of their labour were sorted and weighed. A winners cup was presented for the greatest weight of 3lb 11.5oz.
We celebrated in Margaret and Steve’s fabulous garden afterwards enjoying the culinary delights that everyone had created and bought along. Many thanks to Margaret, Steve and Toby for being fabulous hosts.
