The first meeting was held in February 2004, since then we have met once a month, usually on the first Monday of the month.

In the summer months we organise visits to gardens of interest to members. The programme is devised with the members interests in mind and includes invited speakers, demonstrations and quizzes.

Our meetings are held at Norton Trinity Methodist Church, Norton, YO17 9ES (car park in Plum Street, off Commercial Street, Norton), or at the visit locations as advertised in our programme.

The talks start at 7.30 prompt but we welcome guests and members from about 7pm to chat and get settled. We are usually all finished by about 9pm.

There will be an expectation that visitors become club members in order to continue attending meetings.
